Teaching Food Gardens

Keep Thomas County Beautiful (KTCB) in conjunction with the Thomasville Community Resource Center (TCRC) will be revitalizing the garden component of the TCRC property to function as a teaching garden.  KTCB is in the process of building, installing and preparing raised bed gardens at the facility located at 501 Varnedoe Street in Thomasville. The raised bed gardens will be used as educational tools. For more information on this project click here.
If you are interested in sponsoring one of the raised bed gardens please contact KTCB.

Established in 2011

Thomas County Commissioners recognized the need for educational programs and other efforts to combat litter in our community. After 12 months of research and work by an appointed pre-certification committee, the local KAB affiliate was approved.
