January 2021

Sunday January 17th 2021 - Thomasville, GA
  • North Pinetree Blvd, from County Line Road to the railroad tracks - Approximate length 0.5 miles
  • Three people collected nine (9) thirty-gallon trash bags full of litter, 14 tires, three mattresses, computer monitor, miscellaneous debris and one thirty-gallon bag of aluminum cans.

Sunday January 10th 2021 - Thomasville, GA
  • Glenwood Drive between Chatham Drive and Robin Drive - Approximate length 0.3 miles
  • Three people collected five (5) thirty-gallon trash bags full of litter.
  • North Pinetree Blvd between Clay St. and Patterson Still Road - Approximate length 0.4 miles
  • Three people collected seven (7) thirty-gallon trash bags full of litter and miscellaneous metal debris.

March 2020

Sunday March 1st - Thomasville, GA
  • North BLVD between Broad Street and Dawson Street - Approximate length 0.3 miles.
  • One person collected four (4) thirty-gallon trash bags of litter, a small bag of aluminum cans and miscellaneous debris
  • Majority of this section is undeveloped and is considered a connector street, so it sees a good bit of traffic.  Majority of litter is a mix of lottery tickets, cigar & cigarette wrappers, fast food containers, beer cans/bottles and items you would find at a convenience store.

Sunday February 2nd - Thomasville, GA
  • Chatham Drive between Glenwood Drive and Woodland Drive - Approximate length 0.3 miles
  • This same area was picked up exactly one week prior. During this pick-up, one person collected one (1) thirty-gallon bag of litter and two (2) tires. 

Sunday February 23rd - Thomasville, GA
  • North Pinetree Blvd between Clay Street and Patterson Still Road - Approximate length 0.4 miles
  • Glenwood Drive between Chatham Drive and Robin Drive - Approximate length 0.3 miles
  • ​Chatham Drive Between Glenwood Drive and Woodland Drive - Approximate length 0.3 miles
  • One Person collected five (5) thirty-gallon bags of litter and a five gallon bucket of aluminum cans
  • Chatham Drive is considered a connector street and gets a good bit of traffic. This section is undeveloped except for St. Luke CME Church near Woodland Drive.  One side of Glenwood in this stretch is undeveloped.  Glenwood and Pinetree are heavily traveled especially during morning and late afternoon hours due to close proximity to county schools. Majority of litter along these sections is convenience store and fast food related.

  • Hall Road between Hwy 319 and Garrison-Pilcher School - Approximate Length 0.2 miles
  • Chatham Drive between Glenwood Drive and Woodland Drive - Approximate length 0.3 miles
  • Two people collected two (2) thirty-gallon bags of litter form Hall road and four and a half (4 1/2) thirty-gallon bags from Chatham Drive
Saturday November 30th - Thomasville, GA
  • Clay Street between Ernest Street and Briarcliff Drive - Approximate Length is 0.3 Miles
  • North Pinetree Blvd near Intersection with Clay Street - Approximate Length is 0.2 miles
  • Two people collected four (4) thirty-gallon bags of litter and one (1) thirty-gallon bag of aluminum cans to be donated.
