Located behind the Thomas County EMS Station in the 1300 Block of Remington Ave. directly across from the basketball courts at Remington Park.
This location is accessible by using the park entrance at Ben Grace Drive or the Butler-Mason YMCA parking lot entrance.

- Please ensure that the recyclables are clean and free from food and other waste material.
- Please flatten all cardboard boxes and remove staples, tape and other materials prior to placing them in the bins.
- For all recyclables, be sure to empty bags that are used to transport materials into the container; DO NOT place bags in the bins
- Paperboard (cereal boxes, wax coated boxes, etc., is not currently being accepted

Thomas County has eight (8) collection sites for disposing of household garbage, wood, *scrap metal, yard trimmings, white goods, furniture and other miscellaneous waste.
Four of the collection sites currently offer recycle bins provided by the City of Thomasville for the collection of cardboard recyclables only. Those sites are;

Donating aluminum cans to local charities helps provide additional resources that they might not could afford without help. So next time you throw a party, have a corporate event or see a situation where lots of cans are being used, consider putting out a collection bin/bag and then drop them off to help out a good cause.

Recyclables Sorting Facility
The recycling Processing Center for Thomas County is located near 925 Davenport Drive in Thomasville. Items are collected, sorted, compacted and baled at this location. The items are then transported to various buyers. More information on the recycling center along with photos will be added to the site in the near future.
